Realme X Officially Coming to India


Realme X is due in India since it's launch in China earlier this year. The device is top of the line offering from the brand and it is highly anticipated in India. Realme X is in the news since it's launch in May, thanks to its Pop-Up mechanism selfie camera at relatively a low price tag. During the launching event in China, the company has declared that the device will hit the Indian market in the second half of the year. 

True to its word earlier today company tweeted from its official account that the launch is about the corner. Later in the day Realme CEO, Mr Sheth reveals that the company will launch Onion and Garlic colour variant.


Realme is offering three storage variant in China, 4GB/64GB for RMB 1,499 (approximately ₹15,000) and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage for RMB 1,599 (approximately ₹16,000). The top of the line variant is priced at RMB 1,799 (approximately ₹18,000) which sports 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage. It is still not clear whether the company will launch all the three variant or top variant of the Realme X.  But considering the price-sensitive Indian market, we will see all three variant of the device.

Realme X sports a 6.53-inch Full HD edge to edge AMOLED display and resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. The front-facing camera will be hidden under the display and will pop-out much like other pop-up camera smartphones. There are dual cameras at the back, the primary being 48MP sensor, paired with a 5MP secondary depth sensor. The camera is AI and supports Super Night Mode for low light photography. The camera also supports ultra slow-motion video recording with 960fps at 720p resolution and 120fps at 1080p resolution.

The device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Soc with 4 GB/6 GB/8 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 GB Storage. All this power by 3,765mAh battery with support for VOOC Flash Charge 3.0. The smartphone runs on Android 9 with ColorOS on top. The device also supports In-display fingerprint scanner.
