Huawei is one of the few companies in the world, which consistently producing Tablets even though overall Tablet market share as compared to smartphones is decreasing year by year.
Recently Samsung India added new TAB A and TAB S series to its portfolio as Amazon Special. TAB A starts at ₹14,999 and the TAB S the premium one goes up to ₹39,999 which is much cheaper than the latest generation iPad.
But Samsung is not alone challenging an iPad. Huawei has not done with Tablets yet. Recently the company listed its MediaPad T5 on Amazon India website. Earlier today Huawei confirms the pricing and it will start at ₹14,990 for the base variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant will be priced at ₹16,990. The device will be available in Black colour. The company will offer a free cover and Huawei Earphone AM 12 worth ₹2,998 absolutely free with MediaPad T5.
The MediaPad measures a 10.1-inch full HD 1920x1080p display with 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it houses the company's own chipset which is Octa-Core 659 SoC, paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/64GB Storage. The tablets come with a slightly lesser 5100mAh battery but we have seen that Huawei's battery management is excellent. The device sports 5 MP and 2 MP rear and front camera respectively.
