Website development is not that tricky and expensive as it was used to be earlier. Nowadays you can create your own website under a few clicks by paying some bucks. In today's blog, I will be discussing how you can create a website without a hosting plan.

A website or web site is a collection of web pages which contains information and multimedia contents. A website usually consists of Domain Name+Web pages+Hosting. Each website is identified by using its unique domain name.  A domain name can be .com; .org; .co or country-specific like .in; .au; .uk etc. So the domain is the first part of the website which you have to decide and look for its availability through a domain registrar such as GoDaddy, Domain.com, etc. The cost of purchasing a domain name varies from ₹99 (if an offer) to ₹800 depending on the extension you choose. The cost of a domain can significantly increase if the keyword is popular or someone has already brought it and reselling the domain name.

Once you get the domain name the next thing is to build web pages. The pages can be coded or drag and drop provided by web developing control panels. Once you did that the next important thing is to host your website on the server so that anyone can access your site from anywhere. Here is where the investment started going upwards and that can easily prevent beginners from hosting their websites. The cost of hosting a website varies from ₹1500 to ₹4000.

To create a website with minimum investment, first, you have purchased a domain name, which will cost you less than ₹800. Then go to the blogger or just search in Google and sign in with your Google account and if you don't have one, then create it first.

Once you logged in you will see the following page.

Enter the blogger profile name by which you will be identified. The new page will open. Then you have to select create new blog button and on the next step give a title to your blog e.g. I have to choose TechTaza as it is my domain name. In the address box enter the address which will host your blog or website on bloggers.com and then select the desired theme from default collection, then click on create a blog and your blog is complete now with the selected address you can visit your blog. Now that you have created a blog using blogger.com, you need to add a custom domain name, which you have already purchased. So that when someone opens your domain the blogger page will be displayed.

How to add custom domain in Bloggers?

To add a custom domain on your blog, you need to click on Settings option from the left side panel and go to blog address on right, click on Set up Third Party URL for Blog.

Once you enter the custom domain click on the Save button below. Make sure you enter the domain address in www.[Name].com format, else you will not get a unique ID for your blog address.

Make a note of these two records and enter it in your domain provider and then follow the Google instruction.
